I just got back with my daughter from babysitting and the hectic day that followed. As I suspected, my sister in-law had a great time at her party. As usual her infectious personality and sheer talent, impressed all whom she met.
They live right downtown, so while downtown it’s best to keep one’s eyes open because Montreal is perhaps one of Canada’s most interesting city. We are lucky that it is also a relatively safe city, (except for traffic).
There was another reason for celebration this year, les journées de la culture (cultural days). It is a province wide artsy/cultural activity day. Those who know me understand that I can’t pass up a gala in Montreal, so off I went to appreciate all that our fair city has to offer
